  • 18 liter tub with holes pre-drilled to ensure ideal moisture content and air flow within the monotub for the cultivation of mushrooms. Includes latching lid.
  • Five glass spawn jars with lids and rings included. The lids have been pre-drilled for the ventilation holes and rubber injection ports; the injection ports are installed in the lids. These are the jars that you will use to cultivate the mycelium (aka grain spawn) for your monotub.
  • 500 grams of organic rye grain that will be used in conjunction with the glass spawn jars for the cultivation of mushroom mycelium.
  • Two bags of pelletized gypsum, 25 grams each. One bag will be used for the grain spawn, and the other bag will be used for the substrate.
  • One roll of micropore tape. The tape is 1" in width and 10 yards in length. This tape will be used to cover the vent ports of the grain spawn jars; this prevents contaminants from entering the jars while ensuring there is adequate gas exchange during mycelial colonization of the grain.
  • 275 grams of organic coco coir, one of the building blocks of the mushroom substrate. This is enough coco coir for one grow cycle in your monotub.
  • 810 ml of natural vermiculite. This helps maintain moisture in the mushroom substrate. This bag is contains enough vermiculite to complete one grow cycle in your monotub.
  • One roll of medipore tape. This tape is used to cover the vent holes on your monotub during the fruiting phase of cultivation. This will be enough tape to complete many cycles through your monotub.
